Buckeye Blackout, Schmidt's, Apples, and Football

Fall is in full swing. Julia has been busy back at school...Buckeye Blackout, Schmidt's, apple picking, parties, concerts, OSU football, Chop Shop, the radio show, and more. Bummer loss against Penn State!

Fall Break in DC

Julia was home for a very short fall break. Tribe reunited...and it was wonderful. The time went way too fast. Thursday we just chillaxed with the kitties and Georgetown Cupcake's Trick or Treat dozen. Friday, Julia went to the Management Concepts picnic. Check out their new welcome video; Steven's avatar is particularly funny in the beginning as the drummer. I had class, but Steven and Julia enjoyed dinner at Circa, then a tour of GW's graduate school in geography. Saturday, mom treated Julia, Lisa, Chad, and me to "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time," at the Kennedy Center. It was excellent--highly recommend! And then, before you know it, Julia was back in Columbus and on the air, Alt Expose with Ruth and Rose on Arouse OSU Radio.

Pumpkins, Parties, Hillary, and Arouse

Fun week leading up to fall break. Julia went to a pumpkin festival, decorated the apartment for Halloween, and hosted a birthday bash for Maddie. Hillary stopped in on campus for a quick 20-minute spiel...pretty much the same rhetoric from the debate. They went to a concert in Short North and had a nice dinner at Bakersfield. Of course, OSU football had another win!

I really enjoyed listening to Alt Expose on Arouse OSU radio (Sundays, 3-4 pm). Congrats on the new location at Buckeye Donuts. On the morning of her departure for DC, Julia had a (mostly) healthy breakfast at Starbucks.

OSU Football Rules

Julia and a bunch of friends attended an OSU football game...and they won! The cooking adventures and meal prepping continue with Sarah. (Again, Jules--don't reheat in plastic, even if it says BPA free!) Cannot wait to hug her neck on Thursday!
