OSU Beats UMD and Fall Bazaar

This past week, Maddie celebrated her 22nd birthday. The girls went to Diaspora and cleaned the kitchen out! They also went to the OSU v. UMD game; OSU won 62 to 14.

Steven and I took a break from studying to go to the St. Nicholas Cathedral fall bazaar. Steven capitalized on the food options, reminiscent of Kiev and Chisinau.

Midterm Prep, Concert, Chipotle, Buckeye Donuts

Julia is getting so close to fall break, which means midterm exams for all classes. Only one class/professor is turning out to be a big pain...Dynamic Mathematics 2 (way above my math level of any understanding). She's still finding (several) ways to have fun! Can't wait to see her in one week! [I'm flashing a brown cami that Brenda bought me many moons ago.]

OSU Game Day and Solar Panels

Is there anything cuter than seeing a bunch of kids all dressed alike? Go Buckeyes! Julia is making her way through the Four Tendencies. I'm so happy I've got her hooked on Gretchen Rubin. Check out her Hot Chicken Takeover and fried mac-n-cheese from Sicilia's. After several months of planning and getting permits, the panels were finally installed. One last hurdle from PEPCO...they need to replace our meter. We are so close!

Running, Eating, Studying

Julia is busy with classes, running, Buckeye Blackout, and social events. Check out her egg and potato hash. Julia and Sarah have also been making big batches of chili. And, no worries, they still make their rounds to the favorite restaurants around town. One exciting event this past week was my meat haul from Wagshal's: headcheese, liverwurst, beef dogs, flank steak, meat/fat scraps, steamship roast. Yummerific! The highlight each and every week, however, is always our Facetime calls with Jules. She's the best! We love her tons!
