This past weekend, we honored Chad by coming together and taking the dogs on a hike. It is still so painful and hard to comprehend how we can go on without his humor, banter, and presence at all family events.
Despite the rain, we had a break in the afternoon to walk.
Benjamin came with Julia for the weekend, which we really appreciate given his rigorous training schedule. The Sarrges hosted a delicious dinner, and it was nice to just hang out and catch up. On Monday, we played pickleball. Mom is a beast on the court! It was so much fun. Julia has been encouraging us to try it for a while, so I'm glad we finally did.
