Julia wrapped up the cruise in Venice and flew back to Leeds. Two more weeks until she presents her dissertation and then comes home!We went to Rochester for Uncle John's memorial service. It was lovely--learned some things about Uncle John I didn't know--and it was wonderful to see friends and family (Katie, Aunt Linda, Uncle Tim, Dawn, Matt, Jim Boyd, Aunt Ruthie--just to name a few). Brenda took Miriam to UVA and moved her in and stopped back and took care of the cats while we were in Rochester. Upon my return, I went to Dupont Farmer's Market and scored some good meat--including a BIG beef heart.
