More Pickleball and Birthday Fun

Julia and Benjamin played pickleball, saw The Odyssey, and enjoyed crepes with friends. Jules volunteered at the local food bank and made a friend. :) She has successfully built a network of friends wherever she has lived.

On the home front, we celebrated Tony's birthday--in style, with a deep-fried turkey (of course), ribs, and many delicious sides.

Super Bowl and Super Cold

Julia somehow continues to bear the cold in Fairbanks. Megan and her went cross-country skiing. Also pictured is her homemade chili for the Super Bowl and the Alaska Coffee Roasting Company (treats!). Benjamin is off the grid for this upcoming week, literally trying to survive in the woods somewhere.

In the DMV, it was a party at the Sarrge's! Deep-fried turkey, 40 lbs of wings, and snacks for days... It was nice to see Ethan sporting The Ohio State sweatshirt and mom before she had to jet off to bells practice. :)

Remembering Chad 2025

This past weekend, we came together to honor and remember Chad. The pain of missing him still cuts so deep. Thankful to be around others who also loved him and miss him dearly.

Easter Celebrations

Julia and Benjamin had a special Easter date night--yummmmmm--looking cute as ever! Benjamin flies out today for work. In the DMV, Kathryn was home for the weekend. The Sarrges went all out--deep-fried turkey, ham, biscuits, cauliflower, green beans, fruit salad, green salad, cranberry sauce, gravy...did I miss any sides? Cookies and rum cake for dessert. Missed Chad.

Welcome, Maureen, to the blog--you have been featured and highlighted many times (unknowingly, apparently LOL) over the years. All family members are subject to the blog. :)

Delivered Buckeyes to Elizabeth and the GT rowers. She is so adorable. Also, a hit was a dog therapy session at my work with Luna, Cooper, and Ralph. Pets bring happiness--no doubt about that.
