First Week as an OSU Senior and Family

Julia is in full swing as she embarks on her last year at The Ohio State University. She has worked hard and crafted many valuable experiences and connections. Her first week was filled with a Columbus Crew soccer game, a welcome back homemade dinner with friends, and many meals at various eateries around town. I'm sure the local restaurants are happy to have the students back. We had a delicious dinner at the Sarrges. Tony is recovering nicely and Jade continues to be adorable.

Soccer, Jamming, Meal Prepping, and Yoga

This girl does not let the grass grow under her feet. Julia is back in Columbus and getting into a groove. She went with friends to yoga; I'm glad she's finding a way to de-stress and show off her new yoga gear! They have also frequented the new OSU gym by their place. Between some Papa John's orders here and there, Julia and Sarah are meal prepping together--yes, meal prepping meatballs, chicken, pasta! That's my girl.

Julia went to the Columbus Crew versus San Jose Quakes soccer game; they won 2:0. She also jammed on her piano with her boy band friends. She has several different groups of friends, which keeps it fun and interesting.

The cats are clingy; Peanut Butter misses his snuggle time with Jules. Quiet is being cranky unless held. We miss her!

Last Week of Classes with Mulaney, St. Lucia, Crew, and Wagshal's

Fun week for Julia as classes wrapped up. The girls went and heard John Mulaney (comedian). Over the weekend they attended a St. Lucia concert. Julia and Mark went to the Columbus Crew soccer game--they won against the Houston Dynamo, 1-0. They also went to Sloopy's Diner. Caitlyn and Julia had their last radio show of the semester. It was a good one. Steven and I indulged at Wagshal's...rotisserie chicken, saddle of lamb loin, pepperoni, bacon, ham hocks, beef hot dogs, and country sausage. Deliciousness. I'm trying to gear up to cook more with Julia coming home May 5!
