Celebrating Mothers

Julia and Benjamin went camping with friends and saw the northern lights. They were even captured in an MPR News story photo.

We caught up with Nate and Tom for dinner on Friday (Seasons 52). They are so sweet and fun. On Sunday, we celebrated Mother's Day at Fogo de Chao. Not pictured...the beautiful flowers from Julia. Can't wait to see her in a couple of days!

Christmas and On the Ship

Julia is on the South Korean ship! You can track the boat here (https://live.kopri.re.kr/araon/). She is sharing a room with 3 other girls. Below is a picture of the boat, a view from her room, a picture of the library (all books in Korean--haha), and a Christmas tree in Christchurch. We are so thankful for technology; staying in contact with her daily has been reassuring.

Check out Mom with her pickleball friends. We had the gingerbread decorating party, Christmas Eve dinner at Fogo de Chao, a visit to the Capitol Christmas tree, and Christmas at the Sarrges. We miss Chad. Thankfully, we have each other.

Birthday Bash

We celebrated Tony's 55th birthday at Fogo de Chao in Tysons. The food was delicious (faves beef rib and wagyu ribeye featured below), and it is always good to spend time with family. You can't take that for granted. Thanks for a wonderful night, L&T.
