Winding Down to Graduation

Time with friends is limited, as the graduates start to scatter next week. They went to Eat, Purr, Love Cat Cafe, the Crest Gastropub, and an Indian buffet (with the girlies). Caitlyn and J had their last radio show. Benjamin planned a surprise dinner at Melt Bar and Grilled for Julia with 12 of her closest friends. He is such a sweet boyfriend! She pulled off a fantastic last, Buckeye Blackout event as well. A great way to end the year. Can't wait to see her this Friday!

Also pictured is the yum-deliciousness turkey from dinner at the Sarrge's this past weekend. It was good to catch up with mom, Chad, Westfalls, and Sarrges.

Maximizing Last Days as OSU Undergrad

Classes are done. Finals are scheduled. The reality of a chapter concluding has set in. Julia has made so many dear friends; I hope they all come to visit her at the University of Leeds and in DC.

Julia and Benjamin have been dating for three months; he bought her sunflowers to celebrate the occasion. Sweet.

Sister Comes to Town

Julia hosted her sister Arie and her boyfriend this past weekend. She enjoyed catching up, showing them some highlights of Columbus, and introducing Benjamin to them. Lots of good eats and events over the week and weekend at Hang Over Easy, Oldfield's North Fourth Tavern, Ace of Cups, Mad Moon Craft Cidery, and Moy's Chinese.

Wonderful Unexpected Visit to the Hood

How sweet for Benjamin to drive Julia home for the weekend! Tribe reunited; it was also a great opportunity to get to know the boyfriend. Besides seeing the cherry blossoms with a ton of other tourists, other must-see and eat places were shared, like Wagshals, District Doughnut, Surfside, Breadsoda Bar, Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial, Lincoln Memorial. It went by in a flash, but so happy for the extra time. Less than one month before graduation!

Family and Easter

Julia started her week with a visit from Emmie, who was passing through Columbus. They had lunch and caught up for a few hours--sweet! For Easter, Benjamin, Julia, and Caitlyn went to church and then to Cornerstone Bakery. Although Buckeye Blackout is sucking the life out of Julia, their last big event is this Friday--hoo-ray! Julia and Benjamin also had some yum, Irish grub at Claddagh.

We had mom and Chad over for a turkey dinner. It is hard to beat a fresh turkey from Wagshals. I should have taken pictures of us at the table!
