Dad and Daughter at Women's March

Julia came home to participate in the Women's March on Washington, January 21, 2017. I'm so glad she was part of this historical event. Check out the Women's March Web site to see how they are continuing the momentum forward with the campaign, 10 actions/100 days. Exciting time to be a woman! Although I was in class almost the entire time she was here--Friday night, Saturday, Sunday--it was so nice to spend what little time we had together...knitting, watching Netflix, cuddling with Peanut Butter. Kudos to Steven for making all of the arrangements and for supporting, participating, and sharing in another great memory with our daughter.

Special Visitor at OSU

After a low-key first week, Lia came to Columbus to visit Julia for the weekend. How fun! Cute pictures from the Columbus Museum of Art. Lia fit right in with the Columbus BFFs. Julia, Sarah, and Lia were brave trying the Chinese facial masks. Adorable picture of Julia and Matt--can't help but include that one. Some restaurant favorites included yumminess at Melt Bar, Diaspora (sushi), and Katalina's. Julia also went to a Blue Jackets versus the Carolina Hurricanes (hockey).

Relaxing in Barbados

We spent a wonderful week in Barbados, December 23 - 30, 2016. It was a wonderful way to conclude 2016.

Holiday Family Fun

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday season this year. The annual gingerbread decorating party was a smashing success with new heights of creativity reached by Ethan and Chad. Julia had a few sick days with Peanut Butter by her side. We all went to see the National Capitol Tree, which was gorgeous with very few admirers. I'm not sure what was Julia's favorite Christmas gift this year (maybe the cash or massive credit to her Uber account--both from Steven?), but I enjoyed shopping for Gilmore Girls stuff and the look on her face when she opened the salt collection was priceless. We are so blessed.
