Kathryn's Birthday!

Kathryn turned 14! Julia gave wishes and greetings via Snapchat. Tyler was available on FaceTime. We met Chad's new dog, Buddy; he's so cute! It was nice to see and catch up with the whole gang!

Leeds Christmas Lights Switch On and Friends

Julia's semester is chugging along. It is so nice to see her acclimated and integrated with her professors, classmates, flatmates, friends, the university, and the city. I wish we had our Christmas decorations up already. They get a full two months of celebrating with no worry of stepping on Thanksgiving toes. Jules went to a Christmas Lights Switch On with Dominique and Aly. A bunch (Julia, Ryan, Dominique, Aly, Vy, Yann, and Lucy) went to a Christmas market. She ate donuts with Dominique and crepes and guacamole with Yann, Lucy, and Dominique. The Thai meal was with Dominique and Vy. Of course, there is a nice shot of her crockpot full of chili. And check out her adorable room--cozy and comfy. Counting the days until we see her!

London, Brenda, and Karma

Benjamin made a repeat appearance in Leeds this past week. They made an Asian dish for potluck dinner with friends, worked at the library, ate at Friends of Ham, visited the Leeds City Art Museum, and went to London. They saw Chris Fleming--and got a cool pic with him--and packed in as many London sites as possible! Julia had a great few days with Benjamin and it was so sweet of him to make the trip (this was part of her birthday present).

Back in the hood, Brenda came down to visit Miriam and stayed with us. It was so nice to have her here...almost like the good old days. I can only hope this is the first of many trips she makes. Mom and Miriam came over for dinner after mom's trip to Karma for a hair appointment. Nadya didn't disappoint.
