Bouldering Upward and Onward

A lot going on here in DC and in St. Paul. We enjoyed yummy steak on a salt block and seeing Aunt Linda and Uncle Tim. They look great and are doing well.

Julia went to a hockey game, hung out with friends, saw Benjamin for a few days, and joined the climbing gym. She's been there several times since, honing her bouldering skills.

Weekend Visitor and Return to Office

Nadira came to St. Paul (still cold and snowy!), Thursday through Sunday. Julia met her at Leeds, and they remain close friends.

Steven's company officially returned to the office this week--offering free snacks--with the building remaining primarily empty. People are not quite there yet. The cats do not have to worry about separation anxiety for a while.

Piercings and Bouldering

Julia has a new piercing--cute! Benjamin was in St. Paul for a few days and they went bouldering. No ropes, no safety, no nothing. Julia loved it and is fortunate to have a place right near her apartment. Peanut Butter turned 6 years old. He is such a sweetie.

Working and War

Our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine as Russia declared war and began attacks on the country. Below is a picture of the embassy in Georgetown. Meanwhile, Julia has been busy with classes and a poster presentation. Our neighbor, Debbie, got a rescue dog (Zoey) from Puerto Rico. There are signs of spring in the air, finally. I completed a little spring cleaning of my office and Booberry approves. Also, sharing a picture of Lincoln, to honor wonderful news from one of my dearest friends.
