Passover and Duluth

Benjamin was home for a few days--yay!--and they were able to celebrate Passover together and take a quick trip up to Duluth. Check out the adorable pictures of them. We miss them so much!

Easter Weekend in Philly

Philadelphia is a great city! It had been many years since our last visit, and it did not disappoint. Mom came too and we explored Reading Terminal Market (Steven and Mom enjoyed DiNic's for lunch!), South Street (Steven and Mom enjoyed Rita's custard!), Elfreth's Alley, Independence Hall, Italian Market, Love Park, the Rocky statue and steps, Founding Fathers walking tour (with Aunt Ruthie!!!)--and the must-have for me: Whole Foods! The VRBO was in a great location (Washington Square West) and I enjoyed some great runs along both the Detroit River and the Schuylkill River. In fact, the Schuylkill River Trail was voted as one of the nation's top river walks according to USA Today

Running into April

Don, Laura, and Skyler came to DC for the weekend. They brought their new little puppy, Radar--all 4.5 pounds of him. So cute! We had deep fried turkey (extra, extra crispy) and deep fried chicken wings. Chad and Buddy came over on Saturday and everyone got along very nicely. I didn't take any pictures of people--mom, Austins, Sarrges, Chad, us. :(

Julia had a busy weekend with a girls night in (see spread below) and prepping for her presentation on Monday (which we attended via Zoom!). Check out her website: Julia Andreasen. Here is a link to the organization she helps run: www.polarimpactnetwork.org/. Her picture below is from the site.

The Cherry Blossom 10-mile race was Sunday, April 3. I survived (1:31:51). Is it possible to get my average minutes-per-mile into the 8s??? We'll see.
