Time for Good News

Benjamin recovered from COVID-19 and used the time away from work to find a new flying job! Congratulations! He'll be flying (Minneapolis-->Denver) for an airline that contracts with Quest and Labcorp. Julia and Benjamin went to Costco for a big grocery haul; there is a picture of the "meat room" below. :) Julia is super busy with school (shot below of a new mask she ordered). We can't wait to see her on November 5! Steven helped Tony chop up some wood for the lake house. The decorations this year in our neighborhood are out of control, amazing! Kudos, Glover Park!

COVID Close

Positive, Negative, Negative, Negative, Positive... This is the string of tests from Benjamin and Julia. Miraculously, Julia has tested 2x negative, she is waiting on the results of a third test and has a fourth test scheduled for Tuesday. Benjamin has tested positive 2x (Saturday, then Friday) and negative once in between (Wednesday). So, the Wednesday test was not done correctly, we assume. He will also be tested again on Tuesday. Amid finding all of the testing locations, scheduling, and getting tested, Julia is trying to keep up with school work. It snowed in St. Paul! Julia was written up in the Holton quarterly magazine regarding her accomplishments so far--kudos! In DC, we had a nice outdoor visit with Dana and Aaron.

Getting October Festive

Busy with school, work, and the cats. Julia and Benjamin visited a nearby orchard and picked apples. She has decorated her apartment with gourdes and even shared a pic of her homemade pumpkin latte. Outside their local butcher/specialty grocery store, they were handing out free, crispy rice treats. Looks delicious!

Julia has for the most part fully recovered from oral surgery, although she is still struggling with chewing food. School and work marches on for all of us...Halloween will be here before you know it. Another sneak peak at Boo-Berry Muffin below. She's not quite heavy enough (must be 2 1/2 lbs) to be spayed, so the surgery will be delayed until the 20th. This means we won't be able to pick her up until the 30th. Oh the suspense!
