Purple Party and Spring Hats

March was a busy month for everyone. Julia submitted her final written exam for her research. Next up is the oral portion, probably mid-April. She went to a Loons game (soccer) and a purple party, see proof below. LOL Benjamin has completed his training and spent some time skiing. He's back in St. Paul and Elizabeth is there too for a visit (we miss and love you, Elizabeth!). 

I completed my first hat projects for Margaret and Victoria--these two are the cutest girls ever. So sweet. 

Mom came over for dinner. Booberry was very excited and near her side most of the evening. 

Babysitting and Basketball

Julia was dog-sitting for a friend over the weekend. Meet Charlie. Check out that hair on his huge ears. Benjamin was in St. Paul for a few days and will be wrapping up his training in Miami this week. Big congrats to him!

Meanwhile, Meme was featured in the Fairfax County's Golden Gazette! Well deserved--so proud of her!

Sporting into March

While Washington has seen some wonderful spring weather (in the 60s!), Minnesota is not quite there yet. Julia and Demie went snowshoeing last week. The region was pummeled with another layer of snow last night. 

Benjamin was in St. Paul for 24 hours between training exercises. They went with Wes and Matt to the WCHA women's championship game, OSU versus the University of Minnesota. The Gophers won (sorry Buckeyes!). 

It's Girl Scout cookie-selling season... oh the fond memories.
