Incredibles 2 and Working

Julia has been putting in the hours for her research work. On one of my days off, we actually went to Starbucks and worked. :) I can see the benefit of this and why people do it. It was nice to not be distracted by the cats. We went and saw, "Incredibles 2" and loved it. Yes, it is true what they claim: It is worth the wait! I also, finally, got my DC nutritionist license and my board license to the Framing Shop. They are so helpful in recommending something classy; the frames will be ready July 6. The cake pop Julia is eating is from Magda's baby shower. Did I mention that Peanut Butter is so happy Julia is home? Well, he is.

Moving Back for the Summer

Julia is back in DC for the summer! We have lots of plans to see family and friends, get organized, and prepare for the move to Leeds. Many thanks and appreciation to Benjamin for helping her pack up the apartment and for driving her home. Below are some of her last hurrahs...including leaving her Vans on the wire outside of her apartment. And then some fun activities back in the hood--Georgetown waterfront, Shakespeare in the Park, the Tombs, and Acaiberry.

Dayton Weekend Wedding

Congratulations to the Capitals for winning the Stanley Cup. Julia's making her last rounds to the restaurant favorites, including Union Cafe. She went to Dayton for fellow atmospheric science friend, Kevan's wedding. Congrats to Samantha and Kevan. Now, it is all about packing it up and coming home. We can't wait to have her back!

Smashing St. Louis

Julia and Benjamin drove to St. Louis for a long weekend with Maya, Lia, and Lia's boyfriend Mike.

They saw the sites--the arch, art museum, city museum, Wash U--and ate a lot of delicious food, including BBQ, of course. Check out the view from the top of the arch. So thankful that Julia has these dear, life-long friends from Holton. How cute that they brought her back salt from their trip to Columbia. Oh, they know her so well. The last couple of pictures are from Julia cooking back in Columbus. June 15, she's coming home!
