Julia took her friends to a baseball game for her birthday (she made them "so Julia" bracelets). Benjamin had his cohort sing to her. Cecily, her high school friend, came for the weekend. Lisa and Tony went to visit Ethan. Kathryn held the fort with the dogs. Meme enjoyed one of her last dinners on her trip at an Armenian restaurant with friends.
Julia celebrated with some other July birthday friends. They have a tradition of flipping a cake in the air to see whose turns out the best. Winner, winner! She also went on a major bike adventure to meet up with Hannah, Emma, Ally, and Sam. Check out her grocery haul in preparation for her high school friend Cecily's upcoming visit.
Julia went to Gull Lake in Wisconsin with some friends over the weekend. They had a fun and relaxing time. Benjamin is doing well, with one more month of training left. Mom has been sending some pictures of her trip over Snapchat. She's having a wonderful time.
Julia had a neighborhood parade right outside her apartment building. She hung out with friends and did some biking over the weekend. Benjamin is doing amazing! He ran a 5K in 18:44 and got 5th place out of 160! It's good to see his smiling face.
We spent the long weekend at Deep Creek Lake! Deep-frying was a must--and it was good! Also enjoyed some slow roasted/smoked brisket and check out Lisa's dessert! It's so nice to get away and chill with family. Dennis arrived on July 5. It was also nice to meet Kathryn's friends. They kept things lively. Main accomplishment for Lisa and me--finishing the puzzle!
