Georgetown University Homecoming

Julia was sick this past weekend and spent most of the time on her couch, which she moved close to the window for a nice view. Benjamin coined it her "crib." Benjamin worked on updating his van. In DC, it was GT's homecoming weekend, which meant time with Elizabeth! Booberry was all over her. I'm unsure if I captured her in the rowing pictures below; she was assisting at the early morning practice. She is such a joy. We miss running into her and having her over. And although Georgetown is no longer her home, hopefully, we'll see Elizabeth often due to these GT alumni events.

Mom, Regina, and Aunt Linda celebrated birthdays this past weekend—but I have no pictures to share, LOL. I'm so glad you all are happy, healthy, and geared up for another wonderful year.

Celebrations in Philly and St. Paul

Another friend in St. Paul got married--and Julia and Benjamin were there! This has been a busy year for weddings; another one is coming up in October. Stay tuned.

We celebrated Laura's 60th birthday in Philadelphia. We visited Reading Terminal, went on a walking tour, and finished the day with dinner at Almyra. On Sunday, we visited the Barnes Foundation. This is a must-see gallery with an amazing collection. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the experience interesting and enjoyable with her facts and stories. I highly recommend it and definitely would like to go back. The gift shop is amazing, too.

Traverse City

We had a lovely weekend with our dear friends Mark and Carrie Saunders. The ultimate bonus was time with Julia and Benjamin. We were not deterred by the cooler temperatures and wind. On the last day, the water temperature was 69, and Jules and Benjamin went into Lake Michigan! Mom was a trooper touring around with her boot.
