How cute is this 19-year-old touring the White House? Very cute. Surprisingly, you are allowed to take photographs on the tour; I'm including a small sample. The EPA arranged the tour; anyone from the public can make a request through their member of Congress. It is self-guided; seems scaled back from when Clarkson got us in for a tour...25 or so years ago.
We had the pleasure of Uncle Art and Aunt Regina join mom, Julia, Nick, Steven, and me for our Tuesday family Mexican dinner. It was nice to spend extra time with them. There is nothing like family time...and we've cherished all of the family dinners we've been able to swing this summer. Per their request, Julia played and sang some of her original piano/song compositions. I'm going to miss that voice around here!
Julia ended up having Mexican several times this week, including District Taco and Chipotle. We started and finished the small puzzle I bought for her birthday. I was thinking we wouldn't have time to do a really big puzzle, but I clearly could have gotten one with more than 250 pieces. Stay tuned for another puzzle.
Dan's last day at the EPA was Friday, thus the last foursome picture of the EPA interns.
