Great article from the Canadian, Globe and Mail, on Julia's ice core project on Mount Waddington. Julia is quoted and pictured! For Halloween, she went to a Barebones Puppetry show with Maddy, Cessie, and Maya. She went to a hockey game with Benjamin and won putt-putt golf at Can Can Wonderland with her friends. Also pictured is a quinoa salad she made and her sporting her new Sierra vest.
In DC, Magda (aka, Maleficent), Amali, Sharif, and nanny Anita came to our neighborhood to trick-or-treat. Most of the parents dress up, and it is quite the party scene for those under 10. Our neighbor is in a band, and they started playing at 7:30 p.m. (for the older crowd). Fun-fun!
Lisa and Tony went to parents' weekend at Syracuse to see Kathryn. It's hard to believe that her first semester of college is nearly up. We're looking forward to seeing everyone for Thanksgiving in Brooklyn.
