Julia went to Denver to work on evaluating their ice core samples. She was able to spend some time with Ethan, Bri, Elizabeth, and Chelsea. Then back to St. Paul for a couple of days; her close friends got engaged! Now, she heads to Washington, DC tonight.
Julia is currently in Gainesville, FL, speaking at a conference. She travels a lot. Next up is Colorado, then to DC, where (after Brooklyn for Thanksgiving) she hopes to stay put for a few weeks. Benjamin is cracking on with training.
Mom is in Sebring, FL, with her twin sister Regina, who has made miraculous improvements these past few days. Lots of prayers and well wishes have turned a plan for hospice into a plan for a rehab center. We're so glad Mom could get down there quickly and comfort her. Julia attended another round of Halloween festivities (hockey player). She has been busy sorting out her PhD committee and planning to finish her studies. Prayers are appreciated! Benjamin is doing well. On the home front, we had a busy Halloween with friends, a wellness fair at work (I love my new job!), and another health event I participated in for the WB—I'm holding up a Zen adult coloring book. This isn't my preferred activity, but some people love coloring and would rather talk about it than their diet—LOL. Lisa and Tony went to see Kathryn play soccer. I can't wait to see how they do in Austin, TX!
