Book and Shoveling

Julia was interviewed some time ago about a viral social media incident involving her 2023 study on Antarctic ice shelves. The authors have published a book—and she's in it! Very exciting.

Back in Fairbanks, the snow keeps coming. The snowplough was a no-show four days in a row, so Julia dug herself out. They have a very long driveway. 

Benjamin and Julia have planned their joint-ish bachelor/bachelorette parties for July 3 - 5 in Traverse City. Ricky made the save-the-date card. :) They are organizing wedding events on their own timeline and in their own way--love it! No ceremony/reception date yet. We're just so happy that they are happy. 

On the home front, we went to some open houses with Brenda. Washington, DC, is finally enjoying some warmer weather.
