Migraine, Midterm, and Meat

Julia had a painful week--literally. She was plagued by a terrible migraine and couldn't be seen quick enough at Health Services (caffeine and ibuprofen took the edge off in time for a midterm exam). She's also been having some stress headaches here and there. We can't wait to get her home and to an appointment with Dr. Macedo (the best!) at Washington Medical Group. Don't worry, the pain didn't stop her from having fun this week.
On Friday, Julia went to the Magic Man concert. And, I'm sure you tuned in for the "Alt Expose with Ruth and Rose" show on Saturday, 5 p.m. It was followed by the big, Black Out concert at the Union. Julia was part of the entertainment on the stage between band sets.
Our Wagshal's hauls are getting bigger...cannot help the meat addiction. It is so good. The problem is that in our effort to try new things, we like them so much that they get added to the permanent weekly list. For example, the spicy lamb sausage is now a must-have. The prime roast beef, we cannot live without. Their Amish bacon, rotisserie chicken, and pears...yummy. New this week--Kosher salami, German liverwurst, and London broil. It is too hard to pick a favorite, but so appreciative of having a quality butcher and delicatessen in our neighborhood.

On extra cold days, this is where Quiet parked himself.
