Spring Break Mystery Meats

Julia's dorm has evolved into a wonderful, comfy home-away-from-home. I love her poster decorations and stringed lights. We were able to meet the famous "Rose" of Alt Expose; Caitlyn is as adorable in person as she is on the show.

Tribe reunited--so happy!

First night home, we went to the Westminster parent play; Tony was very entertaining. It is his fourth year performing and he is a natural. Julia met up with Cecily afterward at the house; she looks great and is doing well. Then they went to Surfside for seared tuna (yum!). Sunday was the beginning of the meat fest--and this was before we knew she was anemic! Washal's did not disappoint...rotisserie chicken, leg of lamb, beef tongue, pork salami, London broil, Amish bacon, spicy lamb sausage, roast beef, spicy pork sausage, goat cheese, and the piece de resistance--the Berliner!

While home, Julia was also able to see Suzannah, John Robert (Holy Trinity), and Clay (fellow Buckeye who also lives in the District!). The time went by way too quickly and it was hard to let her go when she is not feeling 100%. Love her so much!

Very few of us can turn breakfast into a lovely salad. The Amish bacon is so good!
