May has turned out to be a bit more exciting than April, so far. While 45 states have begun the process of opening back up, the DC area has no immediate plans yet. The Blue Angels and Thunderbirds flew over DC to salute health care workers. We celebrated Ethan's 18th birthday--responsibly socially distanced. It was nice to be face-to-face with Meme and the Sarrge's. Then we had a double dose of vis-a-vis love with a mother's day visit. Jade might have been the most excited to see us.Other things remain the same...church online, Julia making yummy coffees and lunches, Zoom video chats, and lots of good meat (brisket pic below).
