While July may be here, I need to recap on the excitement from the end of June. Laura came for a long weekend. Unfortunately, Kathryn was in the hospital--diagnosed with May-Thurner Syndrome--but is doing much better now.
On Saturday (June 26), Laura and mom came over for dinner. We then met Chad and Buddy at the World War I Memorial. On Sunday, Kathryn came home and Lisa and Tony hosted a yummy dinner at their house.
Julia left the morning of July 4 for New Hampshire. Steven and I walked down 23rd Street and camped out on a hill to see the fireworks. There were a lot of people--almost felt normal.
